These guidelines exist to make this community as valuable as possible for every member. We take them seriously, and we ask you to as well.
Welcome to the community
AI for Mortgage Brokers is a private, vetted community for UK mortgage professionals. Our sole mission is education and knowledge sharing — helping each other navigate the opportunities and challenges that AI brings to our industry. This is a space built on trust. Everyone here is a fellow broker or industry professional, and we'd like to keep it that way.
The rules
No selling or self-promotion
This community exists for education and knowledge sharing — not sales. Do not advertise products, services, or your own business. Sharing tools you genuinely recommend in context is fine; cold promotion is not.
No abuse, harassment or offensive language
Treat every member with respect. Disagreements are fine; personal attacks are not. Offensive, discriminatory, or abusive language of any kind will result in immediate removal.
Stay on topic
Keep discussions focused on AI and the mortgage industry. Off-topic posts will be removed. If you're unsure whether something is relevant, it probably isn't.
Respect other members
Different brokers are at different stages of their AI journey. Be patient, supportive, and constructive. We were all beginners once.
No sharing of confidential client information
Never share personally identifiable information about your clients or their cases. This is both a community rule and a regulatory requirement. Anonymise all examples.
No spam or repetitive posts
Do not post the same question or content multiple times. Search before posting — your question may already have been answered.
English language only
All posts and comments must be in English so every member can participate and moderators can review content effectively.
Consequences
First violation: a warning and removal of the offending post. Second violation, or a serious first violation: permanent removal from the community without refund of any paid services. We reserve the right to remove any member at any time at our sole discretion.
How to report
Use the report button on any post or comment to flag content that violates these guidelines. Alternatively, contact our moderation team directly at mod@aiformortgagebrokers.co.uk. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Moderation
All posts and new member applications are reviewed by our moderation team before going live. This keeps the quality high and ensures only genuine mortgage professionals are in the community. We appreciate your patience during this process.
